Child Care Demand in Peel

Child Care Demand vs. Total Population

What percent of the total population of children is in demand of child care?

In 2014, it is estimated that nearly one-third (30.5%) of children aged 0 to 5 years are in demand for child care (licensed or unlicensed) in Peel.

The population of children is greater than demand for child care due to some families choosing parental care, particularly when children are very young (e.g., infancy).
