from the Intersection of Streambank Drive and Saginaw Crescent
to the Intersection of Queen Street West and Ibar Way, South of CNR Tracks
A recent inspection of the Lornewood Creek Sanitary Sewer identified a need for possible relocation and/or remedial work. The Regional Municipality of Peel has retained Associated Engineering (Ont.) Ltd. to undertake a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to evaluate alternatives and identify the preferred solution to the Lornewood Creek Sanitary Sewer Improvements in the City of Mississauga. The study area is presented on the map.
This Study is being conducted in accordance with the requirements for Schedule ‘C’ projects as described in the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2007) document. The Class EA process includes public and review agency consultation, evaluation of alternatives, assessment of the impacts of any proposed undertakings, and identification of reasonable measures to mitigate any adverse impacts. Upon completion of this study, an Environmental Study Report (ESR) will be placed on the public record.
