Change to Hours of Operation: Caledon Community Recycling Centre to Open Earlier
BRAMPTON, ON. (June 30, 2015) - Beginning Thursday July 2, 2015 Caledon Community Recycling Centre (CRC) will offer an earlier opening time.
As of July 2, the up-to-date hours of operation are:
Monday – Saturday
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
"Now that there are consistent opening hours at the Region's six CRCs, using CRC services will be more convenient for residents," remarks Larry Conrad, Manager Waste Operations. “We will be able to communicate facility closures and holiday hours more efficiently and since CRC employees are already onsite managing ongoing facility maintenance, there is no additional cost to open earlier."
Caledon CRC is one of six CRCs in the Region of Peel that provide residents with an opportunity to conveniently drop off reusable goods, recyclables, excess garbage and hazardous waste for proper and safe disposal. Disposal fees apply to some items. Yard waste drop off is always free of charge at the Bolton and Caledon CRCs.
The Region of Peel provides waste management services in the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga and in the Town of Caledon. For more information on these programs, call the Region of Peel at 905-791-9499 (or in long-distance areas of Caledon call 905-584-2216, free of charge) or visit peelregion.ca/waste.
