Conservation Day in Mississauga – Sept. 24, 2011

What: Conservation Day is a Peel Waste Management initiative. Residents are encouraged to dispose of their household hazardous waste, reusable goods for Goodwill, electronics and confidential fine paper for shredding.
Why: Conservation Day helps raise awareness of Peel’s Waste Management programs and services, and gives residents the opportunity to learn how they can properly divert materials from the waste stream for the benefit of the environment.
When: Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where:

GE Capital Real Estate lot, 2599 Speakman Dr.
(Entry from westbound lane of Speakman Dr. only)

The Region of Peel provides waste management services in the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga and in the Town of Caledon.
