Water Outages and Low Pressure Resolved in Brampton and Parts of Caledon

BRAMPTON, ON. (July 4, 2011) The water outages and low pressure experienced by Brampton and parts of Caledon has been resolved. System pressure began returning to normal at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1, and the system was fully stabilized by 3:30 p.m. Regional water quality was not affected during the outage.

The Regional Municipality of Peel was incorporated in 1974 on the principle that certain community and infrastructure services are most cost-effectively administered over a larger geographic area. The Region of Peel serves more than one million residents in the Cities of Mississauga and Brampton and the Town of Caledon.
