White Goods Collection Schedule Changes in Brampton and Mississauga
BRAMPTON, ON. (May 25, 2011) – Due to a significant decrease in demand for white goods collection services, the pick-up schedule in Brampton and Mississauga will change from its current four-day to a two-day a week collection schedule.
Effective June 1, Brampton and Mississauga residents that receive regular curbside waste collection on Mondays and Wednesdays will have their white goods collected on Wednesdays, and residents who receive curbside waste collection on Tuesdays and Thursdays will have their white goods collected on Thursdays.
For Caledon residents, large metal appliances and fixtures are collected every other Tuesday by appointment. To schedule an appointment, visit peelregion.ca/waste or call 905-791-9499.
Residents are reminded that white goods and other large metal appliances and fixtures can also be dropped off, free of charge, at any of the Region’s Community Recycling Centres.
