Region of Peel Energy Matters Summit, May 2 - 3

The Region of Peel is hosting its seventh annual Energy Matters Summit one of the leading public sector energy management conferences in Ontario. This unique two-day conference joins some of the world's most influential leaders from the field of energy management and will include a combination of plenary sessions and technical workshops that provide delegates with information to help manage energy costs, control consumption and explore the leading tools and technologies available to shape policies on these matters.

The Energy Matters Summit brings together representatives from municipalities, universities, colleges, school boards, healthcare organizations and the energy industry and includes the following speakers:
  • Brad Duguid, Minister of Energy
  • John Sanderson, Regional Councillor
  • Emil Kolb, Chair, Region of Peel
  • David Szwarc, Chief Administrative Officer, Region of Peel
  • Colin Anderson, Ontario Power Authority
  • Ken Kozlik, Independent Electricity System Operator
