Region of Peel Family Day Holiday Hours
BRAMPTON, ON. (Feb. 15, 2011) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, Feb. 21 for the Family Day holiday. Region of Peel headquarters and offices will re-open for regular business on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Residents in the cities of Brampton and Mississauga are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, Feb. 21 due to the Family Day holiday. Garbage and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected one day later for the remainder of the week.
The following is a revised waste collection schedule:

Residents in the town of Caledon are advised that there will be no change to the waste collection schedule due to the Family Day holiday. Garbage and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected on regularly scheduled waste collection days during the week of Feb. 21.
All breastfeeding clinic services offered at the Brampton Breastfeeding Clinic and the Peel Public Health Clinic – Meadowvale will be closed on Monday, Feb. 21 and will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Breastfeeding clinics operate by appointment only. To book an appointment, please call 905-799-7700.
Healthy Sexuality Clinics will be closed on Monday, Feb. 21 and will resume regular hours of operation on Tuesday, Feb. 22. The Bolton Healthy Sexuality Clinic will be closed on Monday, Feb. 21 and will open instead on Tuesday, Feb. 22 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The clinic will resume regular hours of operation on Monday, Feb. 28.
TransHelp service hours for the Family Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 21 are from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Service will be provided by taxi vendors, but not available by bus. The TransHelp office will be closed. Regular office hours and bus service will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 22.

- Learn.Play.Care. Child Care Centres, Early Learning Services, Children’s Services Operations
- Ontario Works in Peel and Employment Resource Centres
- Peel Access to Housing, Peel Living and Rent Supplement
