Lane Reductions Begin Tonight on Mavis and Burnhamthorpe Roads in Mississauga

BRAMPTON, ON. (Jan 5, 2011) – The right hand northbound lane of Mavis Road and the westbound right hand lane of Burnhamthorpe Road in Mississauga will be closed beginning tonight at 10 p.m. for a water valve chamber repair. The lane closures will also continue into tomorrow morning’s rush hour.

The water valve chamber repairs are anticipated to be finished by noon tomorrow, January 6. Commuters should expect delays or avoid using this area if possible.

The left hand northbound lane of Mavis Road will be open, as will the left hand westbound lane of Burnhamthorpe Road. The southbound lanes of Mavis Road and eastbound lanes of BurnhamthorpeRoad are unaffected.
