Register for Peel Region’s Annual United Way Golf Tournament
BRAMPTON, ON. (Aug. 28, 2008) – Looking for a good reason to fit in one more day out on the golf course? Register for the Region of Peel’s annual United Way Golf Tournament and help out your community and have fun on the links.
The tournament takes place Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at Glen Eagle Golf Club in Caledon. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the United Way of Peel Region.
“This tournament is a great way to give back to the community,” says Judy Yack, Co-chair of the Region of Peel United Way Employee Campaign. “Glen Eagle is a great course and we expect to have a lot of fun.”
Included in the day:
- 18 holes of golf
- Golf cart
- Use of clubhouse and locker room
- Free driving range access
- Gifts and prizes
- Three course dinner (cash bar)
- Silent auction
Tournament sign-in is 10:30 a.m., shotgun start is noon, and dinner is served at 6 p.m. Tickets are $125 each and golfers can sign up as foursomes or singles.
A raffle to win the use of a 1957 Chevy golf cart for the day has also been added to the event. The cart will be packed with prizes, snacks and beverages. Raffle tickets can be purchased with your golf registration. Tickets are one for $5 or three for $10.
