Chelsea Gardens: A Peel Living Apartment Community
Chelsea Gardens is a 250-unit non-profit housing development made up of two 13-storey apartment buildings owned by Peel Living, the Region of Peel’s social housing corporation. Chelsea Gardens is located at 4 and 10 Knightsbridge Road near the intersection of Queen Street and Central Park Drive in Brampton. With 50 1-bedroom, 149 2-bedroom and 51 3-bedroom units, the buildings are predominantly for families and singles. Built under the Provincial Non-Profit Housing Program in 1992, 200 of Chelsea Gardens’s units are subsidized and residents pay 30% of their income in rent. The remaining 50 units have market level rents and eight are wheelchair accessible.
