  • Information seminars on fire safety with presentations specifically geared to young children
  • Presentation is interactive for children
  • An adult the children's group is familiar with is generally asked to participate and dresses up in firefighter bunker gear (This is important for young children since they are often afraid of firefighters which could be detrimental if they try to hide during a fire)
  • Education around Learn Not to Burn school curriculum

  • The OTA Road Knights are available to meet with groups to provide insight on sharing the road with a transport truck and how all road users can be partners in safety
  • A visit by a OTA Road Knight includes an oral presentation, a video on road sharing and/or careers in the trucking industry, and a complimentary copy of Sharing the Road with a Truck - our highly acclaimed booklet of safe driving tips

  • Keep on Track: A Health and Resource Guide for Child Care Providers is a binder provided free of charge to licensed child care facilities in Peel. Regular updates and annual education sessions are also provided
  • Parenting Journal for parents of children from one to three years of age, available in English but being translated into five other languages. Key message is that parents have a very important role to play in a child's healthy development. Safety messages are included
