Regional Council Approves Additional Ambulance Service Delivery Hours

Regional Council approved the implementation of 17,520 additional ambulance delivery hours to assist in meeting transport demand. This translates to adding 2 ambulances working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The growing population of Peel and increasing number of emergency calls are accountable for the current ambulance situation whereby the paramedics cannot meet the public demand for ambulance delivery.
