Community Recycling Centre Network - Proposed Capital Cost Savings

Regional Council approved Waste Management Division's proposal to have only one Reuse Store at one Community Recycling Centre (CRCs) in each of the area municipalities in Peel. CRCs are intended to serve the long term recycling and disposal needs of the residents of Peel. Changes to the CRCs will reduce the capital required for three of the four future CRCs. The reduction would lead to capital cost savings of a total of $2.4 million.
