  a) Regional

Three Readings


By-law 2-2004: A by-law to accept, assume and dedicate lands for public highway purposes.
By-law 3-2004: .A by-law to provide for the preservation and destruction of documents and records of the Regional Municipality of Peel, and to amend By-law Number 1-2003.
By-law 5-2004: A by-law to provide for the Regional Corporation’s consent to permit an encroachment onto parts of Regional Road 3 (Britannia Road) in the City of Mississauga.

By-law 6-2004: .A by-law to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road) from 80 km/hr to 70 km/hr from 300 metres north of the Highway 401 westbound off ramp to a point 1190 metres south of Regional Road 6 (Embleton Road) and to amend By-law Number 41-2001 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

By-law 7-2004: A by-law to delegate to the Council of each area municipality the authority to pass a by-law establishing tax ratios and setting out a method by which the portion of Regional levies that will be raised in each area municipality can be determined..

By-law 8-2004: .A by-law to requisition from the lower tier municipalities a sum not exceeding 50 percent of the amount that in By-law 22-2003 was to be raised in each lower tier municipality before the adoption of the final Regional estimates for the year 2004.

By-law 23-2004: A by-law to provide for the Regional Corporation’s consent to permit an encroachment onto parts of Regional Road 7 (Airport Road) in the City of Mississauga.
